Mrs. Monzos
Mrs. Monzos
The Monzos are a truly unique case in the world of climbing. Unlike many other hold series, the shaper behind these distinctive designs wishes to remain anonymous. Her identity remains a mystery, but her work speaks for itself: the Monzos stand out for their impressive combination of functionality and creativity.

Julius Kerscher
Julius Kerscher
Julius places great emphasis on the functionality of his climbing holds, prioritizing this over aesthetic considerations. His designs are deeply inspired by nature, such as the fascinating smooth rock formations in the Isar climbing area. Julius' approach to shaping is as dynamic as his designs themselves, constantly influenced by the latest materials, cuts and colors. For CCE, he has created the notable line French Connection, demonstrating his expertise and keen sense of thoughtful design.

Tom Müller
Tom Müller
Tom, who grew up in Saarland, developed a passion for climbing at an early age. During his studies in Kaiserslautern, he spent a lot of time in the local bouldering gym, where he further honed his skills. His enthusiasm for climbing eventually led him to the Palatinate, where he discovered outdoor climbing.
As a shaper, Tom places great emphasis on designing holds that can be combined with one another. It is important to him to include a wide variety of holds in different shapes and sizes in every set, allowing climbers to build the exact movements they want. He pays attention not only to functionality but also to visual design. His goal is to create holds that enable people to draw lines or even pictures, blending aesthetics and usability in the climbing world.

Gregor Busch
Gregor Busch
Gregor discovered bouldering while looking for a job during his studies. He found an ad from his current employer seeking help to build a bouldering gym and joined the team, helping to construct the walls and becoming familiar with the sport. Initially, he only had experience with rope climbing from school trips. After a few years of setting routes, he is now the head routesetter at Blockwerk Mainz, one of Germany’s first bouldering gyms.
His passion for shaping holds developed from his daily work with them. Gregor aims to create holds that embody his vision of an ideal boulder problem, focusing on aesthetics, ergonomics, and functionality. He dislikes holds that can be used in any way and prefers those that encourage specific movements. Inspired by calligraphic lettering, Gregor's designs reflect a dynamic and distinctive style.
Outside of shaping, he spends most of his time at the gym and tries to climb on real rock during vacations.
